| The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of rates of potassium in top-dressing on yield and quality of cauliflower cultivar Teresópolis Gigante. The experiment was conducted at São Manuel Experimental Farm, from UNESP/FCA, from April to August 2006. Five treatments (0; 50; 100; 150 and 200 kg ha-1 of K2O in top-dressing) were evaluated at randomized blocks design, with five replicates and ten plants per plot. After the harvest, leaf number per plant, diameter and average weight of curd, pH, acidity, level of soluble solids, reducing sugars, ascorbic acid and level of potassium were evaluated. | A produção orgânica de hortaliças tem apresentado crescimento constante. Porém, ainda há necessidade de pesquisas em algumas etapas da produção, como a adubação. Na cultura da beterraba, são escassas as informações sobre a adubação orgânica em cobertura. Desta forma, objetivou-se com este trabalho avaliar a influência de doses de bokashi aplicadas em cobertura na produção de beterraba. Foram realizados dois experimentos na Fazenda Experimental São Manuel (FCA/UNESP) e estudadas cinco doses de bokashi em cobertura (0, 150, 300, 450 e 600 g m-2) e uma testemunha com cobertura inorgânica, utilizando-se um delineamento experimental de blocos ao acaso, com quatro repetições. | One of the main stages in the production system of a crop is the production of quality seedlings since it influences the plants' final performance in the field and their production. The study aimed to evaluate different nutrient solutions in the production of Cambuci pepper seedlings. The design used was a complete randomized design, with six treatments corresponding to the nutrient solutions proposed for the pepper crop by Castellane and Araújo, Claudio Roberto, Hoagland, and Arnon, besides the commercial products Plenan® and Biobokashi®, and a control treatment without fertilization, with six replications.
